How to create a redirect
If you're moving an existing website to 22Slides, it's likely the addresses to your individual pages may change, even you use the same domain name.
For example, your old website may have a "contact" page at this address:
yourdomain.com/pages/contact.html
And your 22Slides site may have that same page at this address:
yourdomain.com/contact
In order to keep both search engines and links from other sites functioning, it may be wise to create redirects on your new site, to make sure visitors aren't receiving "404 Not Found" messages.
To do this:
From your admin area, click the Settings tab.
Scroll down to URL Redirects and click.
Click Add a URL redirect, and enter the old URL and the new URL you'd like to forward to (leaving out the domain name).
You can also redirect pages on your site to other websites, just enter the website's entire URL, including "http://" in the "Redirects to:" field.
