How to take a screenshot on a Mac

To capture your entire screen, press cmd

Or, to capture only a portion of your screen, press cmd` + shift + 4, then use your mouse to draw a rectangle around the area you want capture.

The file will be saved to your Desktop with a name similar to Screen shot 2024-12-18 at 08.45.00 AM.png

How to take a screenshot on Windows

To capture your entire screen, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard.

Or, to capture only the active window, hold the Alt key while pressing Print Screen.

This will save the screenshot to your clipboard, which you can then paste into your message, or into another application, like Paint, to save as a file.
